Western Australian Coastal and Marine Network.
Our members are dedicated to the future care and management of WA’s Indian Ocean coastline.
The Western Australian (WA) Coastal and Marine Community Network (CMCN) supports connection, collaboration and engagement for the health and sustainability of Western Australia’s coastal and marine environments.
Our network consists of a range of small to medium sized coastal carers, government departments, citizen scientists and hands-on conservation groups.

Core Strategic Group
CMCN is led by a team of coastal and marine experts who provide knowledge, guidance and support for CMCN.

CMCN hosts WA Coastal News – Western Australia’s e-newsletter for coastal and marine conservation. WA Coastal News connects researchers, community and government as communities of coastal care and covers up-to-date news from CMCN members and a range of coastal and marine organisations from around Western Australia.

CMCN acknowledges the traditional owners and custodians of the lands and coastlines of Western Australia. We pay our respects to the Elders past, present and emerging as we share knowledge and care for the land and waters of this state.
